Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking a tour with Maya Tours Brasov. By completing a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Bookings & Payment
All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. Prices are quoted in Euros and include all items listed under What’s Included on the relevant tour page. Payment is processed securely via Stripe.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the tour start time are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour start time are non-refundable. No-shows are non-refundable. To cancel, please contact us at hello@mayatoursbrasov.com as soon as possible.
3. Tour Cancellation by Maya Tours
We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to insufficient bookings, severe weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control (force majeure). In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule. We are not liable for any additional costs you may incur (such as travel or accommodation) as a result of a cancellation.
4. Participant Responsibilities
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit for the tour they have booked, particularly for the Carpathian Hiking tour. You must inform us of any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or mobility limitations at the time of booking. Participants must follow the guide’s instructions at all times for safety reasons. We reserve the right to exclude any participant whose behaviour endangers themselves or others.
5. Liability
Maya Tours Brasov carries public liability insurance. However, we are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to property unless caused by our negligence. Participation in tours, especially hiking tours, involves inherent risks. By booking, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
6. Itinerary Changes
Tour itineraries are subject to change due to weather, road conditions, attraction closures, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will always endeavour to provide an equivalent experience and will notify you of any significant changes as soon as possible.
7. Photography & Media
Our guides may take photographs during tours for use on our website and social media. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your guide at the start of the tour. By not objecting, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use such images for promotional purposes.
8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brasov, Romania.
